SCHOOL VISITS

AFRICAN DAY

Key Stage 2 children throughly enjoyed the visit by Growing Global which allowed them to increase their understanding of what life in many parts of Africa is still like.  Mrs Davies and Mrs Walton grew into their roles as tribal chiefs and a lot of the children enjoyed dressing up!

The children enjoyed the taste of Africa when they were invited to have a school meal with an African theme.  Malaysian Beef, sweet potato wedges, baby corn and cous cous were just some of the mouth-watering foods to have.

Japanese Day

The children enjoyed a visit from Gukiko Roberts. It was a great opportunity to learn all about Japanese culture!

 NORTH AMERICAN  INDIAN GROUP

All children thoroughly enjoyed the performance on Wednesday 3 February 2010. It was a great opportunity to watch Native American dancing, sing songs and try on costumes.
