JOB VACANCY INFORMATION
USEFUL FORMS IN SCHOOL

The school has been educating children from Hoylandswaine and the surrounding area since the mid 19th century and has seen many changes over the years.
We offer up to  105  children a 7-year course of study through Upper Foundation,
Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 of the National Curriculum.

The majority of the children start in September, but they can also start in January or April, depending on their 5th birthday,
and are taught in classes of mixed ability, depending on the number and ability of pupils in each age range.

In September 2011 we have 87 children on roll.  The children are taught in four classes, in mixed age groups.  Mrs Beever is the Class 1 teacher, with 20 Reception children.  Mrs Burr is the full time Teaching Assistant in Class 1, with extra help from Mrs Ogden and Mrs Brown as required.

Mrs Sayles and Miss Oates (Job Share) teach in Class 2, with Year 1 and Year 2 children.
Mrs Ogden and Mrs Brown assist in this class.

Miss Hudson teaches in Class 3 with Year 3 and Year 4 children.  Mrs Foster is the Teaching Assistant in this class.

Mrs Walton teaches in Class 4 (4 days) with Year 5 and Year 6 children.  Mr Cutts teaches this class on a Friday.

We have an excellent support staff network with Teaching Assistants utilising their skills in each class, competent administrative support and a well established PTA (known as Friends of Hoylandswaine School).

We have an Out of School Club provision (set up Feb 2010), which offers a breakfast club and an after-school club each weekday.  Activity Days are also run on Inset Days and we offer the option of a holiday club, dependent upon demand.
