During Sports Week (28th June - 2nd July) the children had the opportunity to try many different indoor and outdoor activities. We had some rugby coaching one day and some cricket coaching on another day. The children took part in a 2km Fun Run and used the 'fitback' equipment that we recently acquired. The children have enjoyed participating in different activities so far this academic year.
We enter competitions locally at Penistone Grammar School, where we compete against other primary schools within the Penistone Pyramid of Schools.
Although we don't always come away winners of the event, the children all put great effort in and enjoy themselves!
We won the event on Wednesday 16th June when our team took part in a Cricket Competition at Silkstone Cricket Club. We beat the other schools in the Penistone area and have qualified for the finals later in the month. Well done!
